Common questions
How do I install the extension?
Add HypeSync from the Chrome Web Store, then open your dashboard settings and click “Connect extension” to link it to your workspace. The first time you open the extension you’ll be asked to enable capture, nothing is read until you do.
How do I connect Salesforce?
Go to Settings → Salesforce and click Connect. You’ll sign in to your own Salesforce org and approve access. Nothing syncs automatically, you choose which conversations to log, per conversation.
Where do I get my API key?
In Settings under the HypeSync extension section. Use “Connect extension” for one-click setup, or generate a key and paste it into the extension popup manually.
What does HypeSync capture?
Only the conversations in your own LinkedIn inbox, the participant’s name and headline and the message text. It never reads other people’s inboxes, and it never messages, connects, views profiles, or automates anything on your behalf. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
How do I pause or stop capture?
Open the extension popup and click Pause, capture stops immediately and nothing is read until you enable it again. To remove HypeSync entirely, uninstall it from chrome://extensions.
How do I delete my data?
Email support@tryhypesync.com and we’ll delete your workspace data. If you close your account, your data is deleted automatically.
